Hello! Welcome to Reis Restoration! My name is Nicholas Reis. After working many years in the hospitality industry in Las Vegas, I decided to move to Kansas in 2017. I began working for my uncle Mark Evans, the Airstreamguy, in April of 2017. In 2018 I attended welding classes at Hutchinson Community College to improve my skills and be able to do more work on the trailers. I spent the next few years learning how to repair and refurbish vintage Airstreams from Mark and his son Derek Evans. In 2019 I met my wife Laura and we married in 2021. In 2022 Mark Evans decided to semi-retire and step away from the service and repair of Airstreams. His focus is buying, selling and logistics/transportation of trailers. Laura and I decided we wanted to keep servicing Airstreams, so we opened our own shop and established Reis Restoration in March 2022.
